week of Feb 2

Another month has gone by!

The 6 week progress reports have gone out.  I know you are not surprised at your grades,
because you have been checking them regularly!  Great job!

We are still in Sepak in the gym.
Fun times!  You are all doing much better at the sport.  Keep it up!

We have a guest speaker on Tuesday for all grades.
They are from the High Fives foundation.  We will all be in
the gym. All 3 classes together.  No suit out and the day does not count as
part of the rotation.
There is  mini day Wednesday.

So my rotation is;
1, 2 and 4th is CR, (no Tuesday) FR, gym then CR
5th period is gym on Monday,  FR on Weds., Thursday is gym and Friday is CR
8th grade is Gym Monday and Thursday, CR other 2 days.

We are moving right along in the health unit.

6th grade is finishing up with the 3 main nutrients.
We will review, learn about menus and then be ready to test!

7th grade will review for test on muscle strength and flexability.
We will test Friday.  If you are gone Friday, then Wednesday or Thursday.
Last test is on body composition, it will be in a few weeks.
We will also go over the 4 week workout program.

8th grade will review for test on Weds (a mini day) and take the test Friday.
If gone Friday then Thursday.
Then we focus on the workout program!

It is your responsibility to keep up with your work.
