week of Sept 30-Oct 3

Hope everyone had a great extra day off!

Now we are ready to get going on a new week!

This week we are still in Pickleball.
We will finish all skill tests this week.
We still need to test forehand for the 6th graders ( not backhand, changed my mind!)
Serves and backhand for some 7th
And serves, backhand and strategy for 8th grade.
The strategy test will be on the court, I will see what you can do to score a point.

Most have finished the rules test, just a few make-ups.

Tuesday we will finish/continue to muscle test!
So be ready!

Then spend the rest of the week finishing skills tests and playing the game!
Most classes have finished the skills test, or are almost done.
It should not take long to complete!

Now that the King's fire is not affecting us, we can go outside and finish up our unit!!

Yippee!!!

Stretching tests will be next week, so we will keep on reviewing this week.
8th grade action test will be next week also.

Have a happy and healthy week!

Week of Sept 8

We are in the swing of things now!

Hopefully all students have their correct clothes and exercise shoes!
Remember we run around just about everyday, so all students should be prepared to be active.

We are still playing "Capture the flag" for one more day!
Then we will go into our own sports.  I begin with pickle-ball.

If you are having problems with your locker or being prepared for Fitness class, PLEASE talk to us,
we are here to help you become more fit!

All students should do the best they can in class.
We want you to become stronger, more flexible, more skilled, more aware of your body and how the mind and body work together.  We are here to help you become fit.  (Or for most of you - MORE fit) We know it is different for everyone!  We do not just teach you sports, but Life Long Fitness!

Also going on this week is Back to school Night. You will get all information from your homeroom teachers.

If you have any questions just ask!

Have a happy and healthy week!!!
