Week of September 27

 


Welcome back! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
There is a Cross Country meet Friday.

We are in our second week of Pickleball!  This week we will test Serves for all 3 grades.
7th grade will be tested on serves and playing a short rally.
8th grade will be tested on  serves and forehand and backhand.

After testing we will have a short class competition!

If you are Independent Study/Absent for 3 or more days you 
must do the Assignment on Google CR.  Due when you get back to school.


We are still getting ready for your muscle test.  It will be next week!

Week of September 20





Welcome back!  Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Tuesday is Back to School Night.  Make sure you give your parents 
the letter you received from your homeroom teacher with your schedule.

What is happening this week:
6th grade will play Capture the Flag one more day-Monday.
Then we will begin Pickleball on Tuesday for the week.
7/8th grade will begin Pickleball on Monday for the week.

We will also go over muscles and stretches.

Week of September 13th



Welcome back!

I hope you had a great weekend!  It was beautiful weather!

This week we will continue to check out lockers.
You must have a composition book or spiral binder to write your combination in.
You need to bring your PE activity shoes to school by this Tuesday. 
Remember to also bring back your signed PE handout.  Cut out the bottom part.
This is due Monday.  If you need another, please see your PE teacher.

We will start selling PE shirts next month.  We will let you know when they arrive.

I have invited all my classes to Google CR.  I will let you know when there are 
assignments.   Otherwise it will have schedules, rules, the blog, muscles, stretches, 
muscle actions and other types of important information for Lifelong Fitness.  
Read the Blog weekly please.

Wednesday is a Mini day!

Week of September 7th



 

Welcome back to school-one week late!

I hope everyone had a great summer and is ready to come back to school!
We are starting one week late due to the Calder fire.
I am sure you have seen all the emails and news.

Lifelong Fitness will be everyday for all grades!!  Yippee!  Hooray!
We will start the year by going over schedules, rules and all that first week stuff.
We will also hand out lockers for everyone at the end of the week.
You will not need to bring your PE clothes for the first week or so.
Yet, PLEASE bring your PE shoes to put in your locker by Monday the 13th.

We are using Standards Referenced grading this year. 
There will be year long reporting, using 5 progress periods.  
Final report card in June.

All other important information will be given to you by your homeroom teacher.

I will attach my Blog to Google CR also.

I will set up Google CR, but hope to not use it this year. Feel free to use it if you are

absent for more than 3 days.
