Week of May 30th-June 2

 


Welcome back from your 3 day weekend!  Hope you had a great Holiday!


This week at ACMS:
-Track and Field Banquet is Tuesday from 4:30-6:30pm in Cafe.
-Truckee High School soccer coach will be here Friday.
-7th and 8th grade Officer elections will be Friday.
-Student Store will be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at morning break.
-Karaoke will be Wednesday, Thursday Friday at both lunches.
-Both will be located on the stage outside.

This week in Lifelong Fitness:
-We are switching sports
                 - Blaylock moves to Frisbee
                 - McMaster/Adams to Tennis
                 - Franey/Berelson to Ball and Bat sports
-This will be the last 2 weeks of separate sports.
-In 2 weeks we begin Capture the Flag with all classes!
-Wednesday is still Cardio day.


Please remember to dress out daily.
PE shirt, active shorts, skorts, leggings or sweatpants/active pants and 
active shoes, not flat soles or platform shoes.  Please try to avoid 
casual pants with zippers or buttons, like jeans. We want everyone to 
be safe while working out. Please let us know if you have questions.


Turn in completed work each week.
When turning in work, use complete sentences and answer all questions.
Work is posted at the beginning of the week.
I will return all blank work ungraded.
If on Independent Study, you must turn in your pink sheet to me when 
work is complete. All I.S. work is printed and turned in to the office.

Here we go again!  Hope everyone had a great weekend!

This week at ACMS:
We are still in State testing Monday through Thursday.
Athlete Committed will be here Friday during ACES for 6th and 7th graders.


This week in Lifelong Fitness:
We are in our same sports as last week.
There is a Google CR assignment.
Friday will be e-bike safety for 6th graders during PE time.
Wednesday is Cardio day.

Please remember to dress out daily.
PE shirt, active shorts, skorts, leggings or sweatpants/active pants and 
active shoes, not flat soles or platform shoes.  Please try to avoid 
casual pants with zippers or buttons, like jeans. We want everyone to 
be safe while working out. Please let us know if you have questions.

The Track and Field Championships are Tuesday.
State testing begins!  Schedule is different.   See below.
8th grade band overnight band trip is Friday.

This week in Lifelong Fitness:
We change sports this week.
My classes start Ball and Bat sports.  We start with Tennis racquet baseball
Franey/Berelson switch to Tennis
McMaster/Adams switch to Frisbee.

Week of May 8th

 


This week at ACMS:
6th Gate Field Trip on Wednesday.
Open House and Jazz band performance on Thursday.
Track and Field Meet on Thursday.
Student Council meeting on Wednesday.



This week in Lifelong Fitness:
We are in the same sports.
Weather should start warming up by the end of the week.
We will do the practice mile and/or the final mile this week.
Depending on your grade level.
